Mark Potash (me/myself/I) is a longtime Chicago sportswriter who worked for the Chicago Sun-Times from 1987-2025, covering the Bears,  Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs and White Sox in that span. He covered four of the Bulls' six NBA championships, three Blackhawks Stanley Cup titles and nine Public League boys basketball Final Fours. Winner of the 2022 Rick Telander Lifetime Achievement Award. Winner of the 2024 Illinois Sportswriter of the Year Award. Mark previously worked for the St. Louis Globe-Democrat and the Arkansas Democrat (Little Rock, Ark.).
